To all my students past, present and future. Remember the Wiz, Annie, how about High School Musical and Grease? Well get ready for another sensational production from the Studio Theatre Company and Showbiz Kidz.I am proud to announce that we are going on our 13th year of Children’s Musical Theatre. Without all of our wonderfully talented students, parents and family members we couldn’t have been the success we’ve been all these years. Thank you all for your invaluable talent, enthusiasm, team work…but most of all the love and lifelong friendships we’ve developed over the years. I know the place we call "home" has moved a few times over the past couple of years, but I have a good feeling Tricia's dance studio is the perfect fit. Just to fill you in on what I’ve been up to lately…To start, my retirement didn’t last long as I was asked to teach at the Atlantis Charter School. I accepted with pleasure and am now part of a Theatrical department at both schools. What a wonderful place, with an incredibly caring, motivated team of people, with the patience it takes to introduce and educate children in this field. I believe in these children as they are developing the skills needed to succeed. Thank You Fernando Goulart for this life changing opportunity. I can’t forget the amazing Lisa Bibeau who owns and operates the Dance Academy. Teaching there has given “retirement” a whole new meaning. I feel as if I’ve just started at this juncture, with the excitement and pride that comes from being a part of such an accomplished dance institution. The instructors, students and staff are all a joy to work with, and I look forward to many years together. Again, thank you to ALL who participated in any area of The Studio Theatre’s productions over the years. This includes, but is not limited to; Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, Into the Woods, Cinderella, Joseph, Music Man, and all our workshops. Sincerely, Janice MacDonald  |
